Meet Kimberly
ScissorKim aka Kimberly Wilkes, designer & seamstress, started designing and sewing as a young girl in Brooklyn and years later is still creating and making pretty dresses (among other things). Kimberly splits her time between her job as "needle for hire" to other designers, costume houses and entertainers of all kinds and creating for her private label.
SKstudio is the heart of the operation. A creative lab and workshop, where all the garments are made with care and expertise. Ready to wear & custom design are both produced here.
Consultations are done in the studio or over the phone , for custom work atleast 2 fittings are recommended. All shapes and sizes are welcomed and customer satisfaction is the goal.

How To Order
When purchasing your skstudio piece you're getting a hand made garment with limited reproductions and sometimes last run materials; I value communication and work closely with clients to deliver complete satisfaction with every garment. To order, click the item of your choice on the SHOP page and fill out the info. Easy!

ALTERATIONS & RETURNS
Any issues with fit or quality will be addressed within 24 hours after the customer has sent an email detailing the issue. 1 Alteration or exchange will be done if needed providing request is sent within 14 days of delivery. No Refunds. Money will be credited to another item in stock or towards the purchase of a custom garment.
